FamilyMeans provides Youth Development programming in Cimarron (Lake Elmo) and Landfall, MN. Through afterschool and summer programming, youth ages 5-18 explore passions, learn new things, and contribute to the community. Activities include, gardening, nutrition, art, music, sports, homework help, postsecondary prep,
exercise, and more!
Participants in our programming love experimenting with different forms of art. From ceramics and oil pastels to paper mâché and jewelry making, our kids and teens love
getting creative! FamilyMeans often collaborates with local artists to provide unique professional education. Recent partners include COMPAS and Northern Clay.
In 2023, the Youth Development program served 230 youth. A 17% increase over last year.
